One of the biggest problems for someone trying to sell items at online auctions is trying to find wholesale suppliers to get their product from. If they can not get the item for a good price, they can not offer it to their customers at a good price and their items will not sell.

When you find a supplier, you can ask for their wholesale catalogs. In many cases, their catalogs are online. You can view these wholesale items in the catalogs and decide what you want to order and in what quantities. When it comes to buying wholesale, the more you buy means the more you save. If you buy your items in bulk, you can always get them for cheaper.

eBay 101 - Choose Wholesale Products That Will be Profitable

Where you choose to sell your wholesale merchandise is up to you and your situation. You may have a store or shop and want to sell your items in a physical location. You may have a flea market or yard sale or you may choose to go the internet way.

If you sell your items at an on-line auction such as eBay or Yahoo Auctions, you can reach a much larger audience and you have a better chance of selling your items. Research your products on eBay and other online auction sites. See what they sell for and how often they sell (and don’t sell). Don’t just jump into selling something because you like the product. There might already be thousands of other people trying to sell exactly the same wholesale item, and nobody does very well with it (except the supplier selling to those people!)
