finding wholesalers for products to sell on ebay |
|
So You’re Looking for Wholesale Products to Sell on eBay…"Where do I find wholesale products to sell on eBay?" This is a very common question on most of the eBay message forums on the internet. People see the late-night infomercials or read about people who have hit it big selling on eBay and they want to get into the game as well. Once they sell through all the things around the house, they start looking for wholesale distributors from whom they can buy products cheaply (they hope) and sell them for a big profit. This is very possible, but it’s not as easy as the infomercials and books would make it sound. If you can find a wholesaler with a simple search on the internet, doesn’t it make sense that everyone else with the same plan could do it just as easily? When you’re starting out selling on eBay the last thing you want to do is try to sell things that every other new seller is also trying to sell. This is a sure way to either sell very little or make no profit. Starting an eBay Wholesale Business Takes Some WorkI hate to tell you this, but starting a business on eBay – even if it’s just part-time – is going to take some work. If you’re looking for a wholesale supplier – whether for wholesale costume jewelry, wholesale electronics or dog collectibles – you’re going to have to spend either some time or some money (maybe both) to find what you’re looking for. The easiest way to find good wholesalers is to use one of the directories available on the internet. There are tons of these "wholesale lists" available but most of them aren’t worth a dime. Take a look at our dropshippers page for our current recommendation. The other way to find wholesale products is to do some real research. It’s not as easy as searching for "product X wholesale" in Google. You will need to wade through the results to find the gems, and the more specific you are when searching the better your chances of finding the products you want. You can also use other resources like your local Yellow Pages or the Thomas Register in your local library to track down a wholesale distributor. Spending the time and effort up front will give you a much more solid foundation to build your business on in the long run. Related Articles
