my ebay - an often overlooked set of ebay tools

My eBay Offers Many Useful eBay Tools to Help Save Time and Effort

The My eBay page is a personalized home page for all your eBay activities. It contains links to various eBay tools such as your favorites (searches, sellers, categories) and all your account information. My eBay also lists all the items you’re watching, bidding on, selling, etc. all in one place. This collection of eBay tools is overlooked by many auction users.

To access the My eBay page, you can click the link at the top of all eBay pages. If you’re not logged in, you will have to enter your user ID and password, then you will be taken to this collection of eBay tools.

My eBay Has Recently Been Updated to Offer Even Easier Access to All Its eBay Tools

eBay upgraded the My eBay page to version 2 recently. The new layout is much easier to use, with links to all the associated eBay tools down the left column. Not all of the international sites have been upgraded with this new version, however. eBay Canada, for example, wasn't upgraded until a month or so after the main site. If you use an international eBay site and it hasn't changed, it likely will very shortly.

My eBay also gives you a list of all the latest announcements from eBay. If eBay is upgrading something, running a special offer like a free-listing day, promoting some new eBay tools or any other related events, the announcements will show up here.

You can customize your My eBay page to suit your tastes. You can add or delete any information you want from the summary screen and change the number of items displayed for any given category. There is also a link on the page to some other eBay tools such as the eBay Toolbar and their auction manager software.

If you haven’t tried using My eBay or haven’t looked at it in a while, take a look at it again. You might find all the eBay tools you need to help manage your online bidding and selling.

Size and Weight

If possible, stay with items that are smaller and lightweight. Remember that whatever you sell, you have to ship. Items such as furniture, lawnmowers, etc. are generally sold through a manufacturer or wholesaler. As an independent seller, you want to sell items that are easy to manage.
