What is Ebay E-Bay?

eBay e-Bay is an online auction site that offers the opportunity for people to buy and sell electronics, jewelry, books, clothing, toys and pretty much anything else you can think of. eBay has spread and grown so much that it is now located in many different countries. It began with eBay UK but now they have eBay Canada, eBay Malaysia and more.

There are e-Bay on-line auctions for Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and Taiwan. People from virtually all over the world can buy and sell on e-Bay.

eBay offers the businessman an opportunity to sell his product and the average Joe to sell some of his excess junk that’s lying around the house. For collectors and collectibles eBay is a great place.

How to Use eBay?

eBay even makes it simple to participate in its online auctions. It’s never been so easy to sign up for an account on e-Bay. You can apply for a user ID using your name and email and then you will be allowed to participate in auctions.

All of e-Bay’s auctions are separated into categories and subcategories that make it really easy to search for things you want. You can also do an entire site auction search or a search by seller.

Sell by Lots

If you have two or more of one item, you can list it as a “lot.” For example, if you had five bottles of suntan lotion purchased from a salvage store for .50 each, and you decided to list them on eBay for $1.00 each, rather than list each one separately, another option is to sell them as a lot. Often times, people perform their search based on lots. However, if you had one bottle of suntan lotion, one bottle of regular lotion, and one bottle of aloe vera, you would want to list them as their own item.
