Improve Your eBay Bidding Skills! Are you tired of always getting outbid on eBay items that you’re trying to purchase? Do you ever feel like you’re just wasting your time bidding because items that you’re trying to buy always sell for more than what you’re willing to pay? Well, don’t worry – a few simple tips can help you improve your eBay bidding and come away with more items at lower prices. There are a few, simple, proven techniques to help you buy and sell eBay and, once you learn them, you’ll be unstoppable. The first thing that you need to remember to do before buying an item that someone is selling on eBay is research, research, research. If you simply do your homework before placing a bid, then you’ll know exactly what you should be paying for an item before you ever place a bid on it. Oftentimes, an item is sold for close to, if not matching or even exceeding the new retail value. Now, that’s fine if the item is collectible or has a good chance of becoming more valuable over time. If you’re bidding on an electric drill, this is not so good. Don’t Always Bid Right AwayOne of the next most important tips is this: remember that you don’t have to bid on an item as soon as you see it. The exception to this rule is “buy it now” items that can sell without warning. However, for most items, simply click the “watch this item” tab and you can track it up until the last few minutes of the auction. If you’re planning on buying an item from a particular seller this is a quick, easy and inexpensive way to stay ahead of the bidding game without artificially driving up the price of an item. PhotographsWhile auctions without photographs can and do sell, auctions with photographs sell much better. People like visualizations and want to see what their money is getting them. Make sure your photograph is clear, focused, and depending on the item (such as rings, shoes, etc.), offers more than just a straight view.
