Using eBay Basic Search to Find What You’re Looking For

eBay basic search is the simplest way to find what you’re looking for on eBay. Basic search takes a general term, such as cookie jar, and brings up all the related items. There is also an advanced search feature that allows you to narrow it down even further.  Advanced search can take more descriptive terms, like 1950 cow shaped cookie jar, and will narrow down the results to all items containing all of those terms.  Both search functions can be used to find exactly what you are looking for, but as mentioned above the advanced search will bring results that are more specific.

Make Sure You Write Search-Friendly Titles and Descriptions When Selling on eBay

eBay selling has become the preferred job of many individuals.  People have found that they can make money on eBay working from home selling wholesale merchandise and other items, rather than work traditional “nine to five” jobs.  Others just use selling on eBay as a supplemental income, and extra little amount that can help cover some bills, and various indulgences. Either way you look at it, whether it’s having extra pocket money, or having a job you can do in your pajamas, or simply a place to pick up something as a gift for a reasonable price, eBay is the answer.

When you’re selling on eBay, consider how people might use search when writing your titles and descriptions. You want to use words that people will search for, especially in the title since this is what the basic search on eBay looks at. You have a limited number of characters, so rather than wasting them on L@@K, WOW, or something like that, use words people will search for. When was the last time you searched for “cookie jar L@@K”?
