Using a Computer Wholesale Auction to Buy Your Next Computer

Do you need a new computer? It seems as soon as you buy one and get it to your house, it’s outdated. Computer technology is progressing so quickly. It’s very frustrating for someone to invest a lot of money into a computer, only to find out that it is outdated and will not work for what they want. A computer wholesale auction can give you a chance to get the computer you want for a better price.

Wholesale computers can be found online and also sometimes with the manufacturer. You can get a wholesale computer or wholesale computer parts to build your own computer and save quite a bit when compared to retail prices.

Saving With a Wholesale Computer

As we stated, you can save money by going with a wholesale computer. So, why is it you save money this way? Well, by buying wholesale, you cut out the middle man. Every time the computer passes through someone, they take their cut. By getting it direct, you don’t have anyone else taking a cut of the profits so you get it cheaper.

Wholesalers can sell computers and computer parts for much cheaper than retail stores and distributors. But you need to be careful when buying a wholesale computer. You need to make sure it is actually a wholesale item and not a refurbished or “demo” item. If you want a refurbished item, then it’s okay to buy these as long as you know what you are getting beforehand. Sometimes companies will advertise “wholesale” prices when it was actually a pre-owned or display item.

Some large companies such as Dell and IBM are on eBay selling computers in their own eBay Store. These are sometimes refurbished or returned computers. In an internet auction like this, you are pretty safe in buying a refurbished model because the manufacturer has refurbished and fully tested them to their own standards.

Auction Price

Set your auctions low, which will help encourage more bidding. The more bidding you have, the higher the price will ultimately go. In addition, if you add a “Buy Now” option for your auction, keep this set at a reasonable rate as well.
